The launch of the P3 Mini 4G encoder unit has caused some buzz in the local market. With several inquiries for demos and POCs, we managed to land an interesting collaboration over last weekend in the heart of KL.

As part of a wider E-Sports event, a portion of the live-stream required outdoor coverage as part of a torch relay along the major road Jalan Bukit Bintang. With various solutions considered, it was found that the P3 Mini 4G encoder in conjunction with the Kiloview Bonding Server was the best fit for the job given the scope of coverage.

By encoding to SRT, the production team was able to transmit the live-video feed back to their main production system via the Kiloview D350 decoder, ensuring a high-quality and minimal latency solution.
