GTM Mobile

eSports Gamers Interface for Mobile Gaming Tournaments

The GTM Mobile brings broadcast-grade eSports interfacing to mobile gaming tournaments. It adds a dedicated USB-C connection that handles game audio, bi-directional data, and high-power charging from a single cable — keeping players connected and powered throughout competition.

Overview

About the GTM

The GTM Mobile extends the proven GTM platform with hardware specifically engineered for the demands of mobile phone-based tournaments. Beyond the standard functions of game audio monitoring, team intercom, and referee interfacing, it introduces a wired USB-C connection to the player's Android device — providing reliable bi-directional data independent of Wi-Fi, which is critical in large, congested tournament venues.

Because mobile games place a sustained drain on battery, the GTM Mobile also delivers high-power USB-C charging via the same cable — up to 15W (5V 3A) — when connected to a PoE++ switch. This eliminates mid-match battery anxiety without adding cables to the player station.

Like all GTM variants, it supports Coaches, Referees, and Arena Announcers through separate operating modes, and is fully controllable from the GlenController Windows 11 app. The top panel carries the same three-control mixer — GAME, TEAM, and ME — each with a multicolour LED ring for immediate level readout.

features

What the GTM Delivers

Mobile Phone Support

  • Wired USB-C to Ethernet adapter provides bi-directional data between an Android device and the GTM Mobile — more reliable than Wi-Fi in large tournament environments
  • High-power USB-C charging (15W, 5V 3A) delivered via the same USB-C cable when connected to a PoE++ switch
  • On mobile devices, USB audio delivers 1× stereo input; on PC, 2× stereo inputs are available
  • GTM Mobile can also accept power from a USB-C PD-capable PC — note that mobile phone charging is unavailable in this mode unless PoE++ is also present

Top Panel Controls

  • GAME — Stereo game audio level with LED ring indicator
  • TEAM — Overall team comms channel level
  • ME — Sidetone level of user's own voice in headphones
  • Each control is also a push button for future functionality

Game Audio Sources (Rear Panel)

  • S/PDIF — Stereo digital optical TOSLink input
  • Aux In — Analogue stereo on 3.5mm jack socket
  • USB — Stereo USB audio via USB-C; 1× stereo from mobile phone, 2× stereo from PC
  • Dante — Two single-channel sources from network

Front Panel Connections

  • 3.5mm TRRS — Headset input for standard gaming headsets; 2.5V or 5V bias selectable
  • 4 or 5-pin XLR — Combined mic/headphone headset connection for aviation-style headsets; pin count specifiable at order
  • XLR Mic Input — Professional dynamic microphone; selectable 48V phantom power; 3-level compressor
  • 6.35mm + 3.5mm outputs — Two independent headphone amplifiers in parallel; game audio and/or pink noise independently mixable to each output

Team Intercom & Remote Control

  • Internal Dante/AES67 mixer generates team group mix for up to 7 teams
  • Full remote control and monitoring via Windows 11 GlenController app
  • Individual game audio source selection lockable via rear panel
  • Mic gain adjustable from rear panel; lockable to prevent player access
  • Redundant dual network connections for failover support

Background Audio Guard

  • Up to 50dB background noise reduction
  • Separate gating across 34 frequency bands
  • Prevents arena noise from entering the mic and team talk mix
  • Eliminates competitive advantage from overheard audio
