Studio I/O Module Features

From connecting established and emerging technologies, to expanding the quantity and type of available inputs and outputs, to linking locations across your network, NewTek NC2 Studio I/O Modules are powerful, versatile, and fully turnkey systems made for IP video production workflows.

Dynamic I/O Configuration

The system can be configured as 8 x 3G-SDI, 2 x 12G-SDI with 4 x 3G-SDI, or a wide range between. Independently configure each channel for resolutions up to 2160p at 60 frames per second.

8 Channel Recording

Simultaneously record up to 8 SDI inputs; combine with NewTek’s Network Remote Storage for optimal power and adaptability.

Built for NDI®

Supporting 10Gb Ethernet, the NC 2 Studio I/O is ideally placed for use in high-speed networking environments such as broadcast workflows and is perfect for NDI traffic. Built to work with NDI 5, NC 2 I/O supports all the latest and upcoming features.

Adapts to any workflow

NC 2 I/O is a powerful, adaptable solution offering IP flexibility while making use of existing SDI equipment and infrastructure. Audio integration provides adaptable workflows through connection with USB and network-based audio drivers (DANTE™/AES67/ASIO/WDM).1 Management and control of each channel can be harnessed locally, through integrated NDI KVM technology, or a web-based API. 1 Compatible audio drivers and/or virtual sound card licenses required (sold separately)

Color Correction

Independently adjust the color characteristics of each channel, manually configuring brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, white balance, and more with integrated proc amp controls, or optionally enable automatic color matching between channels.

Configurable A/V Sources

Independently configure the video and audio for each channel, selecting from any source accessible to your Studio I/O Module.
